According to the Culture, Tourism, Radio and Television Bureau of Luxi County, during the Spring Festival holiday, Luxi County saw a robust growth in the cultural and tourism market. It received a total of 154,500 tourists, and generated a tourism revenue of 159.6068 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 67.93% and 49.17% respectively. The cultural and tourism market achieved a “good start”.

During the Spring Festival holiday, the newly decorated Baisha Town was dazzling, where the distinctive lantern show and themed light show were held to celebrate the Chinese New Year, attracting tourists to take photos.
In front of Shejiang Tower, captivating photographic works, exquisite intangible cultural heritage products, and bowls of unique delicacies drew numerous tourist and citizens. A citizen said that the activities were fun and could allow children to learn about the cultural heritage and rich products of Luxi.
Rural and ancient town tours were highly popular. In Dapiliu Village of Tanxi Town, although rapeseed flowers didn’t bloom, many tourists came here to feel the charm of spring. In Pushi Ancient Town, colorful activities were held successively to attract a large number of tourists. It received 29,400 tourists during the Spring Festival holiday.
Luxi organized a series of cultural activities benefiting the people during the Spring Festival holiday, such as the watercolor paintings exhibition, the Village Gala, traditional shadow puppetry, calligraphy and photography exhibitions, and lantern riddles guessing, contributing to the prosperity of the cultural and tourism market.
